Tax: 10% (+ Friend)	Those of you who have programmed with C++, might know that Assembly is related to that type of code. I'm going through these program tutorials and I need the program SoftIce, which I do. It says I need to hit Ctrl+D to actviate it and such after I install it. But this never works, I'm very confused. All these tutorials say "First hit Ctrl+D". Is there anything I'm missing here? By activating I just mean starting. I searched 3 hours trying to fix this but no luck. I read that older versions of SoftIce (win95/98/whatever) can have this option, but I am on XP. Anything special I'm supposed to configure because I'd imagine at least one of you have at least heard of the program SoftIce. Glenn Forsetti Send PM Posts: 4241 Threads: 98 Mood: Godly Money: £8.24 (D) (+ Friend)	I've not heard of it, but I'll tell you right now, C++ will be much easier for you to get an editor/compiler working, and of course that makes it easier to learn that having a program that doesn't work . Dev C++ is free, and it works just fine, aside from a somewhat buggy debugger. But, if you insist, go on ahead with it. But the link is about making cracks and hacks and such. I don't know how I'll follow this tutorial without the program it asks for. And I have full versions of Microsoft VB And C++.
