o_O Good gravy. This could go on Engrish.com. For the love of all that is good and holy, I hope English isn't the writer's first language. Wow.

Everything is spelt wrong and he couldn't make a decision. He said about 10 games were the best in that review.

Sadly enough, english IS his first language. I had a review I made of that review over at the Team17 forums, it's rather lengthy, so spoiler time:
Spoiler (Click to Expand)
That is absolutely, positively, the worst review I have ever, EVER, READ.
First off, the grammar is absolutely horrid. Other people are going to read this, and it's only fair that it actually looks good to them. I imaging most people would quit reading after the second paragraph. Spelling isn't that great either, you managed to spell grenades wrong.
Second, there are no weapons gone from the 3D world, and it doesn't sound remotely like a bug. Since there was no 3d games TO BEGIN WITH before this installment, there couldn't possibly be any weapons missing from it. You could argue the weapons that existed in 2d should be included, but that's like comparing apples to oranges.
Next up, in the first paragraph you mention W2 and W:A as being the best. Now, you can't exactly have two best games. Further, you shouldn't direct the focus away from your objective, that of recommending W3 to other people. What do people think when they read that paragraph? They think the should just forget W3 and go back to 2D worms, and that is definately NOT THE PURPOSE of that review.
Action PC fans, yeah, they have absolutely nothing to do with turn based strategy games.
Worms 3D is a 3D online game... now, this one just gets me. It is completely REDUNDANT for you to use 3D twice in the same sentence. It is also NOT an online game solely, there is also single player aspects to it.
I'm not really going to say anything about paragraph #4. It's horrid, a gramatical disaster area, and it is so full of contradictions that it could rival Watergate.
Fifth paragraph time. Well, once again, it sucks. Controls aren't that bad... then you mention the glaring weakness of the controls, and that's ALL you mention. All positives, only negatives. Furthermore, the sound doesn't exactly HAVE a bug. It's just that you don't like it. Saying it has a bug is like saying Windows doesn't have a bug because you hate the annoying beep it makes when error windows pop-up.
Sixth paragraph, once again, you shifted focus away from the goal. Even worse, you mentioned a as-yet-to-be-released game. And, just to clue you in, W4 is based on W3D, and is actually a major improvement, not the other way around.
Next, well, that isn't even worth my time. That was simply pathetic. It also shifts focus, not between games, but between totally different features of the game, once again, bad form.
Now, for the next paragraph. For God's sake, never, never, NEVER, NEVER use an abbreviation such as "the big Q" in a review! Plus, your recommendation is mixed. Just because of a few bugs, you are recommending basically EVERYONE to give up pursuit of the game. I don't care what the first part of the statement says, that's what you implied. Everyone will automatically zoom in on that section and say, "Well, no use in this game." You totally blew away your goal with that statement.
Next, um, sentence. Don't do an aside. And especially don't do it with naming off someone, and even moreso, by bringing attention to it with caps.
Finally, we've almost reached the end. Last part. You did a tremendous shout followed by an excess of exclamation points. I'd just like to say, I'm utterly disgusted that I wasted my time reading that sentence just to see that.
Overall, this review totally sucked. If I could be bothered to, I'd register for IGN and blow that reviews rating away. But, I'll just have to take comfort in the fact that I voted for the last option in the poll. It's unprecedented, but if I had jurisdiction, I probably WOULD ban you for that.
The sad thing is, that rant is about five times longer (probably more) than the review, and yet, mine made more sense, used better grammar, and actually proved it's purpose...
You don't have to read all of that, basically I take apart the entire review in a paragraph by paragraph manner.

I don't like the Team17 for that reason. It's 70% n00bs and spam. Plus, they have too many posts and threads to read
Hehehe... I probably read about 30% of the T17 forum.

BTP is pretty much the same to T17's forums when it comes to members, with one small difference - any noobish behaviour results in users getting ridiculed and kicked out, while if a post on T17 is not spam or offensive, no matter how unbelievably STUPID it may be, there will never be any action taken about it, or the poster. NEVER
This is why people keep coming back to BTP after leaving for even a few months, while T17 forums keep attracting the wrong crowd....

Actually, from talking to thomas, he thinks that needs to change. Starting with the castration of EP_Guy (the person that showed us the review) and T_Magdi (the person that wrote the review).

I just now bothered reading that review, and I'm not surprised at all. T_Magdi's about as intelligent as a smashed fly. I believe he's only 8 years old, so he has SOME excuse as for as language goes, but not enough to justify the spelling ang grammer of that review.
he's, sadly, started a message board that he's spamming every board he knows about to get more members for.
on another note, I'm glad to hear that thomasp is agreeing with everyone in that the idiots of Team17 need to be banned, as he may actually be able to do something about it.

I don't really like the controls for W3D personally. (it was in your rant that you liked the controls)

I didn't say I liked the controls. I was quoting from his article without using a quote tag. He said the controls were great, then proceeded to only list the weaknesses in the structure.

Part two of Ask the Team has been added, you can link to it here:
http://www.wormsmayhem.com/community.html?subsection=asktheteam&part=2
Today's installation (this week's?) is held with Defcon, lead designer on the W:4 project. Enjoy, both the serious and somewhat humerous parts of the interview.

Well, they said you could ask anything you wanted to. Go back and look at the 'Ask the Team' section from W3D (if they're still up) and you'll see what I mean.
The majority of answered questions are serious, but there are some that are just there for levity, and because someone actually wanted to know the answer.
