I strongly agree with looking after the old and strongly agreed with all education matters. I'm not that clued up on the party pledges, as I can't vote. But it's nice to know...

despite the anti bias claim, i feel that this site is geared towards the lib dem manifesto slightly, looking at the policy page you'll see that there are a fair few lib dem policies that get their own question, more than any of the other parties.

These are the results:
Who should I vote for?Your expected outcome:Liberal Democrat Your actual outcome:Labour -44 | | Conservative -13 | | | Liberal Democrat 18 | UK Independence Party -15 | | | Green 13 | You should vote: Liberal DemocratThe LibDems take a strong stand against tax cuts and a strong one in favour of public services: they would make long-term residential care for the elderly free across the UK, and scrap university tuition fees. They are in favour of a ban on smoking in public places, but would relax laws on cannabis. They propose to change vehicle taxation to be based on usage rather than ownership.
Take the test at Who Should You Vote For

altho actually i'd vote labour, as over the broader scope i'm happier with their policies and the current economic state of the country. Lib dems have some very good policies, but the consensus in the UK is of an either/or feeling between labour and tories so i cant seem then being voted in - and i really dont want to see the tories get back in.
Pity my 18th birthday is may 20th eh?
not if you're going to try tactical voting
Really, it's not the point of an election. The point is you vote for who you want, if everyone says "oh they don't stand a chance of getting in" then they don't get in. If all the people in the country who said that actually voted for who they wanted it would probably be a different picture in parliament - I mean I know quite a few people who say the same thing, seems like a waste to me.
That's not saying you would vote lib dem anyway - it's just a general point raised from the last bit .
