Okay, maybe that isn't enough. Hrm, a level I thought was hell. Well, most games that I've played I always eventually beat the level. But, if I had to pick one right now that really PO'd me...

The MAX series from DDR. How many here have been able to even complete it on Light mode? Seriously, they're fricken insane.

Oh, man. I've usually overcome all the annoying levels, but this one reigns supreme for me. To this day I still have not beat it.

TimeSplitters 2: Challenge Mode (or is it Arcade?): "Nice Threads"

Basically, you're starting out in the Scrapyard, infiltrating a base, all the while getting pounded by stationary laser cannons. I've used the Lasergun shield but I always manage to die and lose any progress I made. Hmph. The SOLE mission that's keeping me from 100% completion.

Blinx 1 - took ages to get to the end of one of the later levels the first time. Then when I actually get there I discover you need to collect the time crystals in exactly the right order (which you couldn't possibly know until you get there). I never played that game again.

Simpsons hit and run, last level, last mission. I almost finnished when: I crashed I was so Pissed off and still are/am

For me its also simpsons hit and run. On the last level I ended up going up and down town collecting the nuclear waste then crashing into either the car that was chasing me just outside that shortcut or some other random object. It took me a long time to figger out that I could just take the longer route and avoid the car...

Also on the list: Halo Combat Evolved- When destroying the second...er...thingy that is needed to destroy all of halo. And mess it up and thousands of flood suddenly appear in the room. I try and get out the door but so many just pour through it that I need more than a rocket launcher to get out. Im still trying.

forget rocket launcher on the flood, shotgun is more effective. Just keep running and point blank firing and don't try and kill them all.

I have like 3 ammo in it. And the flood have decided not to use shotguns for a long time so I couldnt get any ammo. I have a plasma pistol and I switch that for a rocket launcher before I I jump into the generator thingy. I then run to the door and fire at it as hundreds of the guys run out. But something always stops me from getting out the door.

Anyways I did it now, so now Im stuck in a wide open snowy space. I decide to run towards a the turret before it can shoot me and the flood jumps out from snowy banks either side of me and mows me down.

oh, I thought you were talking about the Maw, seeing as there's more than 2 'thingies' in that level you have to destroy. Yeh that bit is tricky, rockets make sense there. It's all a question of timing your rocket so that you kill enough flood and don't get killed.

And thats all from me, the Metroid one I shouldn't really need because I beat MP 1 and 2 quite easily.
But the Far Cry one will probs come from The Pope, cause he owns it.

Rockets dont need timing. I shoot they die. End of story.

Oh yeah, here's another one. Halo 2, first level, Legendary co-op. We played if for several hours, and we still couldn't get past the boarding party (you know, that section with the Covenant ships that plowed into the vessel).

If you say so. The way I see it there's a whole bunch of them coming through the corridor toward the door, at least one of them has a rocket launcher. If you fire your rocket too soon, you don't kill the rocket launcher guy, if you fire it too soon, the rocket guy kills you, if you fire it right, you clear virtually the entire corridor, and can get a second rocket in to mop up the rest... Then you can just run.
