Garry's Mod uses Half-Life 2 but I see your point.
It is pretty shit, but to be able to play it.
You have to put up with it, or find a way to TRY and stop it.

This question might sound strange, but meh:

Are all characters in Half Life 2 actually NOT supposed to open their mouths or move lips while talking, or is my version of the game castrated?....

Your version is castrated or your PC isn't properly up-to-the-spec required.
All mouths open on my version fine, no problems for me

W:A Easter Egg!

1. Set the date to the 17th of any month.
2. Wait through the intro screens.
3. At the third intro screen wait through the entire intro track. In the 'Worms' part of the logo the 'o' will become a smiley face and then it will wink at you. It also makes a boink sound.

Eh, i remember it being there for years. And it has nothing to do with the date - just be patient and wait for the smiley face

@ C1, RunT, and Spider: I haven't actually tested it myself, got it from a huge database of Easter Eggs (eeggs.com).

The Easter Egg has apparantly been around since W:A came out. It's just that people don't usually hang around the title screen that long, and if they do, it's on the wrong day.

I only hang around that screen when I load it, then walk away to use the mens room or something.

Nor have I. I used to watch the front page all the time. I don't recall seeing a face. And if I have..I probably ignored it..

Which probably means the date does have to do with anything (in response to Spider's post). Could somebody try it out with teh steps above? I don't own W:A.

It works. About five people posted at T17 within 24 hours saying they tried it and it worked.

Wow...that's really cool! Never kenw T17 had any easter eggs. Too bad WWP doesn't have any.

On Spider-Man 2, if you go to the Chrystler (sp?) Tower, on one of ledges, there are feathers on it. They signify the battle with Vulture from Spider-Man: The Movie.

Oh! And in Spider-Man 2, Bruce Campbell eats a sandwich! Except, he doesn't state if he put too much mustard in it . Also, his "Ode To Spider-Man" is the 70's Spider-Man Theme with Shakesperiean words

And about that W:A smiley face thing:

I saw that smiley face when I was browsing through the W:A files, I just didn't know what it was for . Very intresting
