Well rockstar have done their making old games free thing again with GTA2 (sometime earlier this month iirc), it should be available from http://www.rockstargames.com/classics , but their server got a tad overloaded so a mirror is here:

Other free games I have installed are America's Army (can't actually play cause of proxy) and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, as well, of course, as Soldat.

Yeah i have them aswell....

although i havnt had the time to really get into them and play them as much as i would like.

And with americas army (i think) you HAVE TO do the tutorials before you can play online.

Hmmm, I downloaded the mirror of GTA2, and the .exe is corrupt

I did. But to do stuff you have to have a dossier thing or whatever it is, I can't sign into mine though, because I'm behind a proxy.

Americas Army? Whats that about? Where can I get it?

Enemy Territory I play sometimes but I don't find it that exciting compared to CS: S

Ooh, Wolfenstein... nothing like the really old one I presume? ;P That game was scarier than at first glance... you could drink enemy blood and eat bones just to stay alive... and you killed dogs. But deep down, it's a totally leveled, simplistic Doom. Or maybe Doom's a dynamically lit, multi-leveled Wolfenstein, since Wolf came first :/

Anyway, back on topic, nice find Zog. I might download 'em. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't... they'd run at like 0.000000001 frames per second...

Ah, but it's in 3D. My comp can have a bit of trouble running anything 3D (graphics card I assume). Need for Speed High Stakes runs pretty slowly. If it was made in 1999 chances are it won't work :/
