So your £1 won't reach me unless I upgrade to a paid account, which isn't going to happen given my current average income from paypal. Would be nice if they had told me that before I recieved a payment.

So if anyone else is going to send money, please, use add funds to add it to the account before sending it. And if anyone has any ideas on what to actually spend it on (eg. a new domain name for some purpose), tell me. As much as I would like to upgrade server, the next step that will improve performance is probably a dedi. All I can say is: $90 / month. $99 set-up fee. My email idea on the donations page is unlikely to happen with people like (dare I say it) kyle around.

k. you were right, twas free to upgrade, I recieved 77p from meiapaul. Hooray.

And Keeper, BTP is hosted by surpasshosting. Last I checked wormwars was also hosted at surpass (coincidence, I guess?) I don't think I can request them to upgrade the ram on a shared hosting server, so the upgrade option is still a little tricky.

We have plenty of B/W too (100GB / mo)

Excellent news, I thought I was going to have to wait till I was 18 for ebay...

wormwars is hosted at freepgs with a few upgrades to misterag's membership.

Freepgs will host domain names and include unlimited bandwidth. unlimited mysql databases, and ftp access. plans are fairly cheap too...

ah, well looking at a whois, freepgs is a surpasshosting reseller. ie. they buy a reseller account and then sell hosting on to other people (you probably knew the idea behind reselling already...)
It's actually on the very same server as pope's site, I believe.
