Anywho, anyone here play ruenscape? It's got rubbish graphics, real bad sound files... but is still very addictive! Anyone here play it?

Also, there's been alot of arguments over Runescape with wormers! I don't get the fuss! Anone know y?

Runescape is terrible.

but, no post here exactly tells us what runescape is, other than the fact that it seems to be a game which is playable online.

I've played it before and found it quite boring and not addictive at all.

Runescape: MMORPG, free, fantasy, played via java client, available in 2D and 3D.

A free version is available and quite substantial to keep you going for a while whilst the paid version (something like £2 a month) is updated with new quests often.

Fun if you're new to MMO's but it'll become boring after a month or so. The economy is fun though and often a new influx of money is achieved with holiday drop s( like on halloween you'd get random masks dropped that could be picked up. After a limited time, it'd be stopped. They would be priced overly...)

Play it whilst the interest lasts, but don't expect it to bring up anything new once the fun has gone. Just alot of grindstoning...

I <3 MMORPG's. I've played RuneScape, but I need a member's account now. I can't pay for one :X

Tediousness is good. I like tediousness. I like running around getting everything I can and trying to hit the maximum level. I do NOT like P2P games though. Even though there is free Runescape, I hate that there is a cost to be able to do everything. If they could actually get some GOOD GRAPHICS going, then maybe I'd be willing (assuming I could get a credit card). But until then, I'll only play it every once in a while.

I'm at level 10 btw. That's how little I play it.

The worst MMORPG I've ever played was Priston Tale. It took forever to level up. It also had no point. No quests or storyline, just pure leveling up.

Ok, I had a look at it and it looks poo.
Obviously no disrespect to anyone who likes it but I didn't.

Not into that sort of gaming anyway.

RuneScape 2 is better than PristonTale in my oppinion. I don't care about the graphics that much, the gameplay is what makes up for the graphics.

That's why I like RS Classic more.
