urrrm I'm with bt broadband... 1mb down 512k up I think its around 25 quid a month. Thats with a 30 gig user limit aswell. (up and down are counted together) Dont know wot happens if i go over the limit, wouldnt surprise me if i have with all the movie/game and music torrents... ________________ | |

to answer a q: NTL doesn't use BT lines.. seeing as it's cable it uses fibre optic lines, which are their own [BTs being copper, or something]. The connection I get at university varies from around 1Mbps up to a few MBps - mostly the lower end. Up it's also about 1Mbps. Although aparrently the main connection will be upgraded to Gigabit at some point. The contention on a network like this, of course, is huge. The connection atm is 155Mbit, Would like to be the only user on it.. heh. ________________ | |
