That way it would feel frustrating to use it; you'll never move on, because you keep resetting all the time. If I didn't have the same memories after the reset, I would use it more. Then you could just save before you'll going to do something fun, and then later reset; that way you can do the same funny stuff over and over again. So I'd never reset, as if you're memory is wiped, what stops you from doing the same things again?
