well, I should be getting Maya when I get my computer back, so I'm thinking about making the comic in that, if I can get good at it, and the files won't be too big. what do you guys think? (the 3D objects and people would be done small enough to fit into a comic strip, so it shouldn't be too hard to get right, assuming I learn the program well enough).

lemme know what you guys think of the idea.

I think doing a webcomic in any 3D program is a mistake. For you to pull off the backgrounds and the characters well, it'll take ages to do the texturing and modelling.

well, I can't draw by hand, I can't get anyone to help me come up with a way I can draw human sprites, so gimme another option for it. I was thinking just simple characters and such anyway, but even that may take a bit too much to get done right, so I'm still looking for someone to help me with human sprites, if anyone gives a shit, but if I can't, then I'm gunna see how much it would take to make a comic in 3D. if it's not TOO hard to do, then I'll make the comic in that (unless I get someone to help me with sprites before hand).

Ok, I'll help.

Now, are you after pixellated or anti-aliased sprites?

pixellated preferably, but only so that I can make it simply in paint.

if it makes it look a hell of a lot better, you can do anti-aliased, but mainly I'm just looking for something simple and easy.

and don't forget, I'd prefer it to be close to the size of my style of worms, which is 17x22. if you can't do it that small, and make it look right at the same time, then you can do bigger, its just easier for me to be lazy if they're close ot the same size.

check out my comics in T17, I do that quite well, but if I can't do it with whatever human sprite I'm given, then I can simply make the human sprite large enough to express emotions. only problem with resizing, is I'd have to redraw the scenery, which would be annoying, but really wouldn't be that big a deal if I had no choice but to do it.
