As far as I know, there aren't any size limits on these forums, just keep in mind that 56k'ers (like me) have to view the images as well.

As for chat, get mIRC. Then, once it's installed, and after filling in the applicable information, click the /a button (it's at the very top). Click on the first blank line in that box, and copy/paste the following text:
F1 /server irc.wikkedwire.com -j #blamethepixel

Now close the box. Then, all you have to do is hit F1, and you'll automagically connect to the BTP chatroom. Everyone else can walk you though other things there.
