some .animated .gif images don't seem to run proporly. They don't run at the frame rate provided and it gets given a high framerate(or low frame delay)
anyone know about this?
things work fine in IE(well, this one thing....) and netscape (7.1)

It seems to work fine for me. It works at just the right framerate [Hence me avatar was made just like that in animation shop ], as to IE seems to limit framerates.
But i dunno.

I sorta had a proberlem with ani gifs. before I reformated my PC, all gifs were running slow (Although, I didn't notice, I thought they ment to be running at that speed) then after a re-format, they all sped up.
Bit of a drastic measure though to get gifs up to speed.

Once again, firefox is doing things right
IE is set to ignore high framerates / low framerates, and puts it at some standard speed.
You need to open it in a Framerate-Happy GIF editor (Such as Fireworks), set the timing correctly, then save it.

Quoting some forum :
FireFox obeys the frame time set in the GIF. The old behaviour (and the way IE works) is to ignore any time less than 100ms and set it to 100ms...
Unfortuantely a number of GIF animation tools don''t set the time properly and rely on the limiting to sort things out for them.

Another prove that IE sucks. I don't care if a GIF image has a high framerate. Opera does stuff right, tho.
