yeah all saying this But everyone uses X's in their clan tags.

That's only so you can easily tell which clan someone is from. Certain characters are not allowed. Which do you think is easiest to tell which clan I'm in?:

Actually, i see no harm in inserting Xs in your name if you don't want to think of something truly original for a nick, or are just lazy to do that. As long as you keep the number of Xs to 4 max. People that put in three or four Xs on each side of their name may not be the brightest, though
