tundraH posted a similar one ages ago. The problem is that Netscape & Mozilla start to render tables before they know how many columns are in the table, and if the page loads a bit slowly then the first column takes up all the screen and pushes the others off the side, as you can see in the screenshot.

The solution is to make sure the first row of the table loads in reasonable time. The problem occurs on my Hell design, and ReadMe's compact design, and probably some others too (if you see it you might wanna post about it). I've added another row to the top of my Hell design, just gotta make it look good now.

Hmm well I've tried to fix Hell design and it looks kinda cool, I don't think it actually fixed it though.

I repored the bug to Bugzilla

Right, this happens with FF too (randomly), but not exactly like in the screenshot. On my comp, the page doesn't stretch well and the right column isn't displayed where it should : the middle part invades the exact amount of space the right column would use, and the right column is displayed, but with a little shift (to the right).

That's the main page CB, it tends not to happen there. Plus I added that table row at the top to try and fix it.

It's not a bug with any particular browser, it's a bug with the Mozilla/Gecko engine behind the browser.

It sounds like they might have the fix for it, who knows when we will see the result of that though.

i used to use netscape 7.1 with the ultra compact design and no problems, no problems when i switched to mozilla, well so far....
