hey clever people, i made a well flashy sig using a flash making programme i think, its called Mix-FX and i wandered if u know if i can upload it anywhere, cuz most places only take jpg and gif. erm, thanks

heh most places only accept those file types cause they don't really count as images. You really need your own webspace somewhere. You could try tripod uk http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk cause that's one place I know you can upload any filetype, and I'm pretty sure it will let you use that for remote linking.


However... You won't be able to use it in a sig script, cause to use an swf you have to use a different tag (embed instead of img), so if you want to use it in your random sig script, convert it to gif and then upload it somewhere.

hmmm, i sorta understand. what thingymajigger do thor and semiskrood and shit use to get their fancy animated sigs?

if you have flash you can simply export as .GIF instead of .SWF otherwise you can search for a SWF converter that should do the job for you.

i use microsoft gif animator, and i actually made semiskrood's sig for him...
