The fact that Wish brought up was a good one. They're different games: It's hard to compare them (particularly when one of 'em isn't out.) It's like comparing StarCraft to Age of Empires. They're obviously not going for the same things as each other. Doom's trying to be scary, HL's trying to be fun. Which I'm sure they have/will succeed(ed) in. They're not directly competing with one another. Both are surely good games.

HL2s trying to be a creepy story of
"youve screwed over the planet now fix it"
in which you use all sortsa tactics and weaps

D3 is a story of
"some1 accidently opened a portal to hell so lets go for the source of the problem"
that on xbox and WILL be multi-playa
there both stories with twists and turns
(a zombie marine stole my minigun and i can kill him fer touching it)


both are relatives who use there own methods
