i think that thing about online drugs is ironic and very funny, i would never do this but i still want a gmail account, how could u be complaining about 1 gig of email space and never deleting letters, unless you are a mass terrorist though, and i dont think any1 here is ;P

The official notfier, for Windows at least, also works and is less likely to get your account cancelled.

ah, nice - been after onf of these, i suggested to google about makingan xml file and protecting it via http auth that contains basic info about new mail for appls like these but they never replied.

Yeah, they do seem reluctant to make a public API for Gmail. Which is certainly a pity for Linux users.

Imagine a Firefox livemark for your email, that would be cool.
