I read the thread about resetting all users' money to zero, and at first I thought it was a good idea and voted yes in the poll. Then I realized that the money is worth something, since the auctions page is added. If all the money were reset that would be unfair, it would be like taking someone's real money away (not really, but kind of).
For my BTP money I can buy stuff I could get for real money. So please don't reset it!
If you really have to, at least give us the money we've earned from posting.

I think the resetting project has been canceled, precisely because of the auction system, before, money was not used often, except for the lottery, but now, auctions & the premium options gave a great boost to money, and people use it much more.
There are no more reasons to reset it now, IMO.

If we won't reset the money, it's pretty unfair against these n00bs to the site, because most of your thousands are gotten by the poker thing. Resetting the money would be still a nice idea.

well, if the overall amount of cash of the btp people is going down,. then there is no erason to reset the cash, becasue soon enough the cash even out.

Indeed it is. I've spent a good thousand or so on the auction, HarrY has spent a lot on it too, on that warhammer figure from Wishta.

But hang on - then it goes to someone else. So unless you're taking money from other users, money won't decline.

Although there is tax, I suppose...

i have 75% income tax

so when spider paid 100 for a name plate, i only got 25, which totally sucks

but, i don't think i have 75% now, duno what i have, doesn't say in my profile and when i hover it says 1% income tax for everyone

Yeah, can you change the hover. There seems to be a bug in the tax, in the hovers, and profiles.
