It is simple why such games become "KART" games.... because your not going to see mario in a suped up hot rod with flames down the sides and a naked princess toadstool painted on the hood. They are children based games... it's a way to introduce younger aduicence into race type games.
Hehe, maybe one day Mario plays in FPS, killing goombas with childy railguns.
But good thinking, ur right for the kart audience.

And this is the same response you'll get from people who own those types of games. The MAIN target audience and MOST of the people who buy those games are children.
