I noticed there is alot of thread in the forums are old and unfinished.... some forums (as old as they are) should be kept around, so for future use, if someone is searching for something they will find it... but alot of the pointless threads and threads locked at 3 posts....... Its not like they "take up space" but perhaps the MODs can delet some threads, or users can delet there old threads that they feel won't help anyone in future use.

Im not saying its a priority at this point, but it would be nice to get rid of a few threads. However, if you do decide to delet some of your own old threads, USE YOU BEST JUDGMENT, think about if the thread was or would be usefull to other and if it was just mainly a good thread.

I deleted a bunch of my old threads already, just cuase im a nice guy.

I personly dont care, its just an suggestion, but I am a bit bored at the moment.

Just an example but C1 thread on the broken links on the PM thread or something... the topic has been 100% delt with, thus the thread is pointless.. and im not at all trying to bug you about it C1, it's just a good example.


when I started I posted a good number of threads on pointless crap... and it was just moronic for anyone to even think about replying to them... even if 100 years past... so i deleted them....


I really dont see what is so wrong about replying to OLD threads is tho... some poeple have no had there say, or feel the topic has not been ended...

Another suggestion, as stupid as the first, Threads posted over (just an estimated guess) 4-6 months should be in BOLD or ITALIC text... just so poeple know... becuase last thread posted only shows the last post, not when the post was started... You can look at the original post and read the date, but most poeple ignore that factor. Like I have before.

Threads that are over 20 days old, have the quick reply box removed and a warning at the bottom of the thread. That's good enough DJ.

despite the fact some of these issues are resolved, I still like to have the threads there for archive-y purposes, so I know who's said what should I need to. I'll leave it up to the users to delete threads, atm.

i personally think that, until the day comes when zog starts to lose space on his server, the threads should be left as they are, that way we might not have to repeat areselves so much with the "noobs"
