ello...
i just made a little thing on meh sites so you can upload files and use them.. the max limit is 3mb, btp has one like it but it only takes 40kb so, you can use it for bigger files

heh, yeh well if you're talking about sig hosting then you don't relly want sigs over 40kb anyway .
Anyway, if you want to take all that space up, then cheese for you. (I'm happy for you to take my cheese, I'm not really a cheese person).
Although, have you tried uploading a file of 3MB, you might find there's a mazimum there that is set by the host that's lower than 3 MB...

it uses php, the max php can do is around 2.8mb
and its just for general files.. like you cant upload certain files on free hosts (geocities, etc) so you could upload them to meh site and use the link.. and use up my space

actually php's max is much larger - you just need to change the upload_max_filesize and max_execution_time config options in php.ini

indeed - ours is set to 5MB I believe, so php must be able to do more than 2.8 MB

If I remember correctly there's an Apache setting that affects this as well... edit: nope, can't find it. There's a Timeout in httpd.conf but I don't think it's relevant.
