All I know right now is that you can make your own missions. That's about it. Does anyone else know some differences and additions? I'm thinking about getting it.

Yeah... and I think there's many more maps available from the start.

WWp is all unlocked out of the box, it features wormpot. and thats about all.
IMO unless you really like the idea of some twiddyl potions, and dont play online then stick to WA, the online community is better IMO, and the game is improving as the patches are released. At one point the communities will be merged anyway. So there isnt much point then either.

So what? You can play colored maps online. And that's much better than colorful pictures at the beginning of the game. Which you can edit if you don't like...

I play WWP, and its great, I dont know how you W:A player can survive w/o the 20-30 options from wormpot . Yet again, W:A can be good i guess only because it has color maps, but i dont see any other thing good about it.. its old and dull.. i suggest WWP

they're both good... w:a can get color maps, wwp has a LOT more color maps from the start (i mean you don't hafta download 'em), wwp's ingame is a bit darker, w:a's is brighter cause the higher the sky is the lighter tint it is...

W:A also has a myriad of bug-fixes that WWP will never have unless they decide to actually go through with the merger.

And there are more W:A updates in the works. The only problem is Deadcode hasn't posted on his progress in ages, and the T17 forum crowd is getting restless...

the colour maps that u get on wwp, are well, crap
i can and have( ) made better maps than them
wwp is cramped with n00bs with their shoppers
wa is better
wa is better
t17 cant b botherd with wwp, cos its bad
so what is wa is old? more of a classic, and the patches are newer than wwp
and if u dont like the "dull"front end, go make one ur self or dl a new one

k lets go through this again....
WA is being upgraded to work with the wwp cd and so they can merge together on the same wnet - WA is going to become wwp without wormpot
when thats finished they will patch up wwp
im sure if you search for long enough on the t17 forums you will find the original topic/thread about it
harry you should look into things before making snap judgments like that, i play wwp and wa, there are more shoppers on wa lol i see you have never tried wwp
btw wwp can already use 256 colour maps

Actually, he has played WWP, because he played that when his W:A cd broke. He's only recently came back to W:A.
And if W:A is really being patched up so it can work with WWP, when why would WWP need patching?
And you can't use 256 color maps online (except for the pre-constructed ones).
And I play WWP as well, and I see tons of shoppers and little of anything else.
