I have 2000 in an account i opened about a week ago. That gains 40$ interest every year. (since i won't use that much anyways, may as well gain money off it sitting there). And then i have another account for spending which as 1000 in it. It's probably less money now that I've been crazily spending it.

And my grandma is paying for my skooling when i go to university. And that will have about $50000 in it or something. Perhaps more, perhaps less.

My grandma is just rich. And she's really nice. My actually family is just average. We live in about a $150,000 house right now. My grandma lives in about a $300,000-$400,000 house in British Columbia*.

A house costing $300,000 canadian is pretty much a mansion. A house costing $300,000 where i live would have like 2-3 stories, a pool, a 2 car garage, and hardwood floors throughout the house. Unless you live sumwhere with a high demand for houses.

My house is worth £375,000. Its got 3 floors but no pool
But the house prices round here are very high at the moment. When i leave school there will be no way i will be able to afford a house. (well i will because my dads already invested in a flat for me ) but alot of people wont
