Recently in the development of a worms game, I made a couple useful sprites that you can't find anywhere else.
The first is a worm walking in place. The normal walking sprite has him move forward, and then snap back as the animation loops. Using this sprite, you can make him move forward at any speed and it'll look good:
The seond is the entire shotgun firing animation put together, useful for games:
Hope you can use 'em. Maybe some of you would like to post your edited sprites, to make this thread have a stronger point.

Actually joe, I've already posted a sprite that stays in the middle on one of the image threads
This one has a bottom to it though
(It also jigs back a bit at the start so that it seems to stop a bit (as the normal walk does in-game). It's counter acting a movement tween basically...)

suppose they're ok, and pope is right, but what would make your shotgun one better would be to make it a bit smoother and add a case falling maybe

That's an awesome sprite, that'll be good for cutscnenes in my game if you don't mind that I use it
ReadMe, it's a game where you control a worm that develops weapons and other technology and goes on missions to sabatoge, destroy, asasinate, etc. the enemy. So far I'm working on the very basic animations, such as jumping, walking, and right now I'm adding weapons, including some I amde up mixed with familiars, like the bow and shotgun.
But don't expect it to be released soon, it'll be close to being done sometime in 2005
