Of course you can use colors, you just have to use them correctly. There has to be contrast between your text and what it's up against so that people can read it. If you absolutely have to have yellow text you'd need to also specify a background color since everyone uses a different design and so their background color is going to be different from person to person. like this

lol, don't use huge text in your forum topics, please . You can use font tags in your description that give it colour if you want. Just do't put it in the actual topic title - as we've seen with the I tag it can cause problems on the index - although these won't be so bad, seeing as it'll get cut off before the tag finishes.

I got annoyed at the yeeloe text, because im using the tripey green white design. i couldnt even squint my eyes to read it.

when using < h1 > as the title, it messed up the whole forum index. It stretched it and stuff.
