Or, ya know, you could just be like me and screw over your internet connection by opening all the threads at once (god, I HATE 56k).
The thread skipping idea, I like, but the ignoring not so much. If I don't want to visit a thread, I skip it, and when I'm done posting I click that little button that marks all threads as read.

Can you make the thread just "disappear" I don't like looking at the stars. (phychological problems i guess). So could it be like forums and when you ignore you can make them disappear as well. Tho if you want you can have an option to ignore and and option that i said. Tho it doesnt really matter..
