Actually, it is a fairly good idea. Bemanistyle.com used to have this before they reset the site again (Bemani as in DDR type stuff). You could use your tokens (their form of currency) to buy virtual stuff that would appear in your profile. Unfortunately, I didn't get to play around with it much because soon after I registered, they did their site restart (upgrading from site design 6.0 and in the process accidentally deleting the stuff). And they havn't re-established it since. Ah well, but at least we know it works.
