I think it would be a good idea to add a mood changer thing on the main menu, so you didnt need to go all the way to edit profile to change it.. with pictures too

Or at least the users section to the left should be moved up a bit so you don't have to scroll down all the way.

...atleast add pictures for the moods...mabye some pre-defined ones with images, and you could do a custom one

i once sugested someing simular 2 this
i think that there should be a little edit button, near ur avatar in the forums
and clicking on this edit button opens put a little box which lets u edit ur custom status, avatra url and mood
like the way the edit feature runs

Pre-made images are not a good idea. There are not images enough to describe all possible moods you can have.
