When the developers changed Zelda over from an overhead perspective, to a 3D one, a lot of the fans complained. In fact, many even stopped playing the series period. But, it ended up being a good decision, and brought many more gamers to the series (who prefered 3D to 2D). So, until the day that I get W3D and play it for a few days after that, I'm going to remain impassive as to my opinion of it.
