I have 3 diefrent IPs
one from btp, one from showip.com and one from run>command>ipconfig

they're all different types of ips probably.

how have you seen your IP at BTP, unless someone who can see it tells you what it says there's no way of seeing...

BTP->showip/ipconfig could change because it's recorded at the time you post, and may change later on.

And heh, When you're using the internet, you only use 1 (type of) IP at any time... THe other type being your local IP, but that only applies to a local network.

Maybe you're looking at the wrong IP address in ipconfig. Dunno. Or maybe you're using a proxy?

Offtopic, some people subscribe to both a cable and a dsl connection and run through them simultaneously for more bandwidth. You'd have to set up a custom configuration and know what you're doing, but you would then have 2 IPs. Also if you just had two of any type of connection hooked up to the same network... but that's unlikely, and I've never heard of an ISP that would do such a thing.

Ya my adsl changes ips everytime i turn off the computer.

That's not what I was talking about. That's just a Dynamic IP, meaning your IP does not stay the same. Most cable connections are suppose to have dymanic IPs, but they rarely change. Since you still have to request an IP from your ISP's DHCP server, however, it cannot be considered static (although it is . . . heh).
