Ok what i would like to do on my pc (win98se) is put a xp theme on it now do u guys know of any sites that i could download a prgm or theme to let me do that.

You could download windowblinds from stardock.

That enables you to skin the whole of windows.

There is a version available for 98 etc.



You will have to pay for it, for the full version.

And i dont know why on earth you would want that teletubbies theme.
There are many other nice themes available through using this program.

I have the full version if anone wants it, but not the 98 version. As they are diffirent. Sorry

I personally use stylexp. although i may change back to windowblinds soon. as it litterally skins everything.stylexp is xp only though :/ ( self explanatory )

liteStep looks like an interesting program (google for address), It's probably not useful to you though. You need winXP to make it work seperately on different users. It's actually an explorer shell replacement, so it's a bit weird for anyone else using your comp. You probably want to look at the website before trying it tho - it's betterat explaining than I am.

i understand you zogger and seeing as im running win98se with dif users i think ill stick to windowsblinds unless some1 has another prgm thats better then windowsblinds.

edit: i have tested windowsblinds on me pc and it f***ed it up, i kept on getting kernell32, rundll.dll and explorer errors including the big white box with the errors init. so i think im gonna have to try another prgm to customise my pc.

are you sure you have the version suitable for 98, the full version i have is for xp.

microsoft dont even support 98 anymore.

i did have the version for 98 i got it from the windowsblinds site there was a link to it.

microsoft have acctually decided to keep win98 support open until 2006/2008 and the same goes for winme which is soon to run out.

so has ne1 managed to find another prgm, i have bin looking myself no luck yet.

well seeing as i didnt restart this thread im gonna ask again, can anyone recommend a prgm that will let me skin win98se so it looks like xp?
