And most of it would get traced back to the person adn they'd get banned from the computer. So i usually dont do that stuff. Plus i dont know anyone elses password. So i would definately get caught.

lol our school teachers passwords were simple

username = their initials
password = their initials twice

ie

USERNAME = ABC
PASSWORD = ABCABC
lol so easy!

In my school, our usernames are the first 5 letters of your surname, then the 1st 3 of your first name then the year you joined the school (in my case 02) so using my online name i would be starkpsy02, password's are two random words stuck together.

ours are our stupid id number which is pretty much this : 354354135431531.

mine uses ur initial plus surname as login, passowrd is user set so it's actually a pretty secure network.

even when you change them you can still access them via windows because they are stored in the c:\Windows my username was 8441 so i had to find 8441.pwl and delete it and then i sign out then i just enter 8441 and no password then login and change it i took over the hole of the network for 2 weeks b4 they realised what had happened!

we have no C: drive access. like i said, pretty secure network, we got like 4 IT techs.

well we don't have c: drive access either or ms dos prompt or anything like that its was only because the staff were so stupid with their passwords (read up) that i did it. it was great i had control for 2 weeks i made allsorts of dif changes and b4 i gave it back i made sure i had administrator privilages over everybody else so i was like god in a way really!

We've got 'bout 30GB C drives iirc on every computer and command prompt using Windows 98. We were on XP and had no command prompt, but due to compatibility issues (damn underclassmen and their typing classes), we had to switch back to 98.

heh, we used to have more access, but now we have this CSE thing, which is a pretty terrible thing that seems to replace the explorer shell. We don't even get a start-bar, and access is very restricted...

Our usernames are the year of entry + the first 6 letters of surname - eg 97crouch
The passwrods are just set to password until they're changed, but it's not like it matters, no-one keeps anything important there, really. We also have two fake users, 97CHEESE and 97GOAT, which were set up specially for open days so that some random people didn't come along and delete everyone's files...
