hold on i dont get it, you have to post alot to become a mod, now in all fairness that means spaz should become mod when he gets 1000 regardless of how he got a 1000 posts, i personnally post useful things, but everybody does slip up once or twice and post something "spammish" but i will take up the offer of becoming a mod when i reach 500 only if the majority of people are in agreement with it not like last time with people complaing at me being a mod "only" because i had a few posts.

Actually, Archamond seems more respectable and less spammy lately. If this keeps up he'lll probably gain a mod seat when he becomes a blue.

I thought when you got blue status you only got accesss to the extra forums, i though C1 made me a mod.

I dont mind people who post alot becoming blue members, even if they also becom e mods i just dont want the spammers to get special access to places others aspire to reach through being an active member for a reasonable amount of time.

Its not fair for some one liek psymon who hasnt been here that long to achieve access to the special forums because he has trundled out a few hundred posts within the RPG forum. I dont think that makes you a well respected senior member with many months at btp.

I think instead it shows you can splurge out alot of waffle and become powerful.

In a sense its rewarding constant posting about uneeded things,

as oposed to the special forums and blue status trepresenting you as being a member for a proper amount of time.

Someone who has achieved blue status and access to the forums through posting his opinion many threads, starting good topics and being a general cool guy deserves to be acknowleged when he has done this 1000 times.

Someone who managed to spew his verbal dioreah onto a forum 1000 times does not deserve to acknowledged as a senior member IMO
