Windows 98 SE
Matrox Millenium G400
AMD Athlon 650Mhz
64MB Ram
Before it begins, W3D opens a new window asking me to choose my mhz preference and my resolution. The loading screen works, I hear teh music begin while the loading screen is still being displayed and then it shows the error listed ab0ve.

oh... i thought this was a once-in-a-while thing, didnt realize it was keeping you from playing worms. first off i hate windows 98, so i'm prone to blame it on that and your lack of RAM, but other than that it sounds like you might wanna contact Team17 about this problem.

I was with him, and it happened at all the resolutions and refresh rates. Well not all refresh rates. that would be ridiculous but we started from 30Mhz and worked our way up in 5's until 70Mhz.

i wouldn't have even tried that hard. you shouldn't have to. it should work at 60 or at least 85Mhz. if it doesn't, something's messed.

We tried installing it on my computer but it still fucked up. Actually, on the 98 os, it was installed but didnt want to work but with my XP pro, it had trouble with installing meaning we couldnt even use a compatibility mode to fix it. Wethinks its the actual CD...but since it was bought in Ireland, we're buggered.

yeah sounds dodgy. Post it in the team17 forum. Im sure someone there could help, if not one of the staff. I would buy some more ram though.
Also 98 isnt exactly latest now is it, and it is a new game. Microsoft dont even support it even more
p.s i be liking your sig pope, but lets not change the topic.
