Natural? Nonononono. Dedicated? yes. Just mess about, do random things, look for unique tutorials. My recent nameplates were made through randomness.

For e.g.

I first started off with loads blue bars. Each were slightly opaque at the ends and I had a difference effect on them so that each bar created an effect between another one:



Then I placed more semi opaque images with a slight onyx rock like texture fill and put a saturation effect on this image. I then copied and pasted it all over the place:



Finally, I placed one big square with another linear fill. This iage was not at all opaque and had a difference effect applied to it. This created a shiny gloss effect with the bars made in the first step. The squares added in step 2 gave the image light and dark parts to the background, aswell as a more softer effect with a gaurissian blur:



All of that was completely unplanned and took not much knowledge at all. And ATM, it's my favourite BG i've made.

i just played around.....buuut unlike C1 i went to wcdclan.com and did all the tutorials...went to (i think) Good-Tutorials.com and photoshopcafe.com....if you want to find photoshop tutorials just search on google

447 layers when everything has been ungrouped and I'm just thinking about the top 5 image makers. Might turn it into a small award ceremony...
