psymon, we were looking for pixel art, not some textures that you found on the internet stuck on a box which has been drawn a tad inexactly. Sounds harsh, but the lines don't match, and it's anti-aliased!

nono, I meant inexactly. I did mean to put a :P in tho. I'm not saying you can't draw, I'm just saying that doesn't really suit the the pixel drawing style.

Yeah, but you lot are proberly using PSP which can easyly set up a grid for guidelines. If only there was a way to do that in fireworks. Pope, Anyway of doing that?

I use photoshop, which does have a grid, yes, but then some people are happily using paint... The grid is useful tho.

edit: ooh n gc, did you see the Xbox on pixelDam?

Use that gif image to guide your lines when building with any program.

Then just erase them or get rid of them however you see fit.

What's the size of the people. In pixels if possible.

As harry says he made a new construction site, but if anyone thinks that they can do better, feel free to try. You can also try on the "For Sale" sign, or the main background of the page...

As you might've noticed I've also made the roads a bit better, still some work to do there tho

It looks good but:

1) There is already some grass. 2 types may make it look strange and 'alien'. Make it transparent.
2) I don't like the look of the chain fence.
