I actually like it as an album, but I'm interested to know why 14 years could ever not be too long.
I won't say it shouldn't be called Guns N' Roses, but it is a very different experience. One review I read put it very well: In ten years, when you and your friends go to a jukebox, will you put on Sweet Child O' Mine, or Madagascar? Unfortunately I think the record will mostly be remembered for actually coming out rather than anything on it.

Good Quote! I agree with that. And you have understand that no one was really working on this album for the whole 14 years. It was more like a year's worth of work interrupted by every single disaster imaginable.
