mostly Canada because the US just blows things up

You fucked up big. Did it ever occur to you we have a bad leader leading this freakin' country? We've done more than you think C1. I'm glad a lot of you people see the mistakes of US, and not what we've done good, cuz we've done a lot of good and saved lots of disasters.

hrm lots to comment on here, i'll go through each post since my last one in turn.

kikumbob: it doesnt threadten the world, global warming does, this in actuality will change very little.

Pope: This is real, it is now and you can see the effects, it is unexpected and it is shocking, thats what terrorism is about, and thats why it matters

joe: there is so much wrong with that, i'm not sure where to start. We are not america, the people will not demand retribution, they will suck it up and get opn with their lives. stiff upper lip and all, no WW3. Also, live8 means jack shit. cancel world debt? It's not as if they were ever going to pay it anyway, they didnt have bits of their budget set aside for paying debt. The overall gain to the 3rd world contries is 0.

kikumbob: i agree, this will hurt us hard because funds will have to be found to rebuild, and those funds would have been put to better use elsewhere

C1: his point was that ditractions like this take focus away from the important things, like th G8 summit and stuff.

Pope: people are selfish, it's true - it's why communism doesnt work. Show somone a starving child, they'll say "aww" and throw in a tenner. Explode a bomb in front of someone, they get worried. Thats why it matters.

Runt: wtf, u sux. (translation: learn what you are discussing, contirubte to discussions in a useful manner).
London was ready for it, and they dealt with it pretty well, the attacks were intending to cripple and cause fear. They caused medium annoyance and a general state of bemusment. I know people in london, and their thoughts were thus: "how am i going to get home?"

Zippy: breathe. now give up with the blind patriotism and got get all worked up over a throwaway statement. Blame it on poor leadership? you cant - thats what democracy is about.

No-one remembers the good stuff, bad things are more memorable. What do you remember OJ simpson for? (poor example, but you get the idea)

You can't really "give up" the "blind" patriotism. A lot of Americans are like that. That's like me saying "no no, all the british drink is tea". It's stupid and pointless. But since it's a petty stupid throwaway statment like u said. Who cares.

Americans were asking for it. They seen how much of a retarded monkey Bush was, and voted for him AGAIN!

Doesnt mean every american was.
I mean, gawd... my history teacher was talking about him and I hear of comments from other students just wanting bush dead.
It was a close race, tho I dunno if it would matter which one would be elected
We need new leaders. they're all fat and double chinned!

Ofcourse, this is not porn:):):)

What happend in London yesterday morning was terrible, but I have to agree with Pope and Zog
37+ is nothing compared with how many starve to dead each day.
And about WW3, not gona happend.
Some sort of war involving NATO could happend, but all major world powers are in NATO, and NATO dont want war with Russia or China, and others are just not big enough for World War.

And about this US patriotism shit, saved lots of disasters, name one disaster.

You have not let Saddam to get more richer with oil, so you took it from him?

You was sorry for Albanian people who were killed on Serbain ground cos they want land that doesnt belong to them, so you bombed civiliand people in Serbia?

Somalia, Ruanda....

Dont even know political background for Vietnam war.

Only stoping disaster is joining allies, not germans in WW2.

Eventually this will happen in Canada, US again, UK again, Germany, France, and every other major country in the world until some morons in the middleeast figure out that terrorism does not make any difference, it just makes things worse and makes everyone blame them... I dont think they understand what "living" is all about if they choose to kill themselves to prove no point...
All i can say is, if someone dont stop' em, every country in the world is at risk...

Squelchy: WW3 won't happen as a result of terrorist attacks as they're a group of people, not a country.

Zippy: I'm pretty sure C1 was having a small dig at Americans but some of it does have some truth behind it :P

Split: There was always a risk split, it doesn't just suddenly appear after 9/11. Governments jumped upon this event so they could achieve their own agendas. Immigration, Identity cards, Oil etc...

ReadMe: I just find it trivial the news cover 37 deaths and don't talk about thousands of deaths due to disease/starvation.

Another example. I'm not sure about anywhere else but in the UK, the news will often pick up on a single missing person or about someone who murdered their family.

Ok, fine, people are in danger but if you cover one murder, then why don't you cover them all.

We need new leaders.
If we did get new leaders, would they be experienced as the others. Could they, infact, be worse?8O

Pio: Isn't he still in Africa in some mental health place?

US Playa Hata's: Ok, yes, you win, America does have there steroid moments. But what if every American was dead? Yes, there'd be about a billion less explosion holes. But there would be voids, big voids. Think about it, everything has an advantage and disadvantage.

And besides, France has democracy because of us. ;)

Avast, 'tis a fine day to be sure.

Everyone : i know, WW3 is unlikely, but if we go around naming names, some people are going to get angry.

The Pope: aren't you a bit worried that this could happen again? That's why it matters. I know there are lots of people dieing of our stupidity, but we're working on it. Tony Blair said something like $50 Billion is going to Africa. Thats alot of money. But terrorism isn't something you can treat exactly and the fact that they didn't give any warnings suggests there is a big chance of it happening again without us realising.

Everyone : The fatality count has risen to above 50 and is thought to go further. Things like this rarely happen here in England, thats why everyone is worked up about it.
