I'm curious as to how many have people have which browsers and resolutions. I can't do a poll for both so I'll jyst do one for browsers and you can post your resolutions.

As for me I use Opera and have a screen resolution of 1024x768

And so isn't 1280 X 1024 even smaller than 1024 by 768? ;)

Mozilla 1.5
Mozilla 1.7a
Mozilla Firefox 0.8

Currently using Firefox at 1024x768 (highest hardware will support).
Also got IE6 and Mosaic. :D

I use IE to get to Java because it isn't working in Firefox. I blame Sun.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox at 800x600. I'd raise the resolution, but my parents use the computer also, and they have problems reading the small text...

When I was using my parents' computer, my mom would always change the resolution back to 800x600. That really made me with Microsoft would have included resolution as a per-user setting that would be stored in the user profile. But alas, since it wasn't, and since I was getting tired of changing the resolution every time, I made me a macro that would do it for me. That worked, even though I'm sure there would have been an easier way to do it, I don't know what that would have been. My dad would always just leave it on whatever resolution it was on when he got on the computer, so now it's always on 800x600, and they've got so many frickin' programs on that computer that they can't see them all in the 'All Programs' section of the start bar because they run off of the screen. Since I don't use that computer any more it doesn't bother me, so I just leave it be.

My desktop is filled with about 65 icons and the start menu nearly goes off the desktop...even on 1024x768.

The next resolution up (1280x1024) messes up the colours.
And the one after that (1400x1050) is too small!
