even I've heard that one before. the guy on the box is just supposed to be a Quaker from the colonial days.

Quakerism is correct, its a religion, just not as big as christianity. Its a secondary religion if you like.

That is also trueish. It was started by a group of Quakers deveolping new wholefoods for the community, but a big company, Jordans, stole the idea as it was shown to be a shockingly popular idea.
