Oh hi,

I'm looking for a graphing program that will take in a bunch of points and their error propagations, and use those to draw a graph with line of best fit and give the equation of the line.

We have a program that does that at school, but it seems home made, and I don't really want to drive all the way to the school just to do that.

excel?

Excel doesn't do error propagation, and it's already a frustrating program to make graphs in. Everyone knows not to make a graph in excel.

excel is fine for graphs if you do it properly, and it can also display error bars.

(i just noticed i hadnt ticked the box to display the formula for the line - but the option is there)

But how long did it take you to do that? If it was more than 30 seconds, then it really isn't worth it.

There is one program called "mentor", It's specialed for electronics , but almost imposable to download (even from torrent, and rapidshare).
We work on that program at school, and it make's you a graph in 1 second, just type in numbers, and it display you graph(s) for it.

Problem is: At school we work on original, profesora won't barrow us cd-s with program, we cant putt it on usb stics coz profesors are always watching, and i couldn't find it on net (I've searched for 5 min and gave up XD ).
It wasent any problem for me cos i make a graph in 2-3 min with hand, so i diden't needed that much.
Anyway look for it, maybe you'll find it, and it can give you more free time =).

Well can you get the company information? That would be useful to find, and then *download*

At my school, we use a piece of software callled 'Circuit Wizard', but I don't think it does what you want it to do (for AbdBoy)
