Here's something to do when you're bored. It might seem kinda silly, but I signed up to Bux.to, which is completely free to do, so you won't get scammed. That's my referral link. They give you a bunch of links to click, and for each one you leave open for 30 secs, you get 1 cent. They also give you 1 cent for any links your referrals click, but it's not a pyramid scheme arrangement.

The catch is that you have to stick around long enough to get a minimum of $10, so you can cash out (possibly minus some minor fee), and then you have to get an AlertPay account to send it to (which you can then send on to a PayPal account, which would be handy for buying things online). So far my clicks have earned me 15 cents.

I shall keep going on this and let you know if I ever get my $10, otherwise I'll just mark my own post as spam.

I suppose that's one "good" thing about my degree (aero engineering), there aren't too many terms/words/etc that have "alternative" meanings.
What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels?

The point being that if you sign up now with my referral link then I get it faster. :P At the worst it should take me 9 weeks.

I think it's worth a try. Plus the point is to pass the referral link around friends so that they're earning money for each other as well.

The pro tip is to never spend any money on their website, because there's no real guarantee they'll pay you anything.

I believe programs to do the clicking on it have already been done, and they probably watch out for people who seem to be refreshing the page a lot to scoop up as many ads as possible. It'd have to be a very cunning script!

Is it a maximum of 10 cents a day?

As for a bot, just incorporate a random element into it so it's not predictable, like coming on at different times of the day, maybe only doing a few clicks in one session and making the clicks vary between 30 seconds to 30 minutes.

If they don't run a client, I'd imagine they just catch people out by looking at statistical data about a user and if they're too consistent and regular to be human.

I may sign up, I'll be sure to use your link Bloops.

Edit: Well I have now, what equates to, 10p. The idea of purchasing referrals is interesting but I'd imagine 95% of those you purchase won't regularly do it or even last beyond a week. Nonetheless, this doesn't seem scammy, just disproportionately time consuming.

No, it's not a maximum of 10 cents a day. It depends how many advertise, but it's more like 15-20 a day.

Here's what I posted on another forum:

I'm estimating that I'll have $9.50 after 5 months (2 months of clicking and 3 months of payment processing, minus PayPal fee).

The important thing is to never spend any money on their website, then it's harmless. Sure they paid you the first time, but the last thing you want to do then is invest in it when there's no guarantee that you'll get paid again. It's probably built into their system that they limit the overall amount they pay out to people over a certain period of time, so if your number comes up, you get nothing.

Approaching my first dollar. Dollar. Not pound, haha.

It's an exciting idea, 'making money' online but in the grand scheme of things, it's not worth the effort. I can think of a lot more ways to make a quick fiver ;)

Looks like you completely forgot about it again Darksider. Which means it's a bit pointless for you to post your referral link.

I'm 1/3 of the way to requesting my $10 now.
