Cool. I doubt if Finland is yet sharp enough to see houses. Helsinki and Turku are, but no other cities. I'll check that. Thanks for tip.

Have you tried GoogleEarth Peltzi? There's a lot more detail on that.

What, like cockpits, turboshafts, thrust, nozzles, corkscrews, ram drag, payload, flaps, and wind tunnels?

here's an image of a small town in louisiana and a glimpse at the thought put into said town. I'd say this is where I live but without my arrow you wouldn't be able to tell there's even a house here:

There's a really detailed place in Madagascar (I think) where you can see someone on a bike and people sitting at a bench... I'll try and find it.
An image!

Is this not like an internet based google earth? I wll accept it if it has better quality on alot more of the earth. Google earth can only zoom right in on urban places.

Yea, I live in the middle of a wood and I can't tell a lake from a rock there in the map.

Google are very tactful and I can find my house, which is in a small town. However now that I'm living in York it doesn't have aerial photos (multimap does though). My uni room overlooks the lake:D

That's not a great idea with this being the internet....

Google Earth has better quality over much more area. LIAR, Google Earth does not only have detail on urban places! Plus, if there isn't detail you can zoom in anyway

Speaking of Google Maps, I just did this.

I live but one block from Jeffry Dahmer's Grandmother's house.

If you'd just check wikipedia, you will see that he lived the last years of his life here. I find that freaky.

New Zealand houses aren't on google maps, not that I've seen anyway. You'd have to use Google Earth, EvilWeevil.
