Seems the problem with guests is still around. It said Aku made this thread when he obviously didn't...

But either way, I'd suggest an Iriver. Due to their cheap price, good quality and numerous options

Just get yourself an mp3 player you'll know how to use.

Some people go for the 20GB memory ones and lose where most of their songs went.
Having alot of space on something like that can be annoying.

Why?
If you got 20 Gigs with you, you always have a big Storage.
In there you can store many things you might need on your way, uhm like a Virusscanner, some Movies and other stuff you wont hear throug the earphones but can be accessed by a computer.

yeah, things like that are like portable harddrives with user interfaces

you dont really need to carry thousands of albums on one little thing that will break in your pocket if you fell on it..

That makes no sense. RunT's and MC's post.

If you have all your music on your player, and no where else then you really are stupid. They can break, get stolen and lost very easily.

Also, I need an mp3/video player (such as the iPod, but would prefer something different) with loads of space. 20GB of southpark+10GB of futurama+9GB of music. (tho the video would be much less due to reduced resoloution)

you don't have to store your music exclusively on the mp3 player, and everyone's always saying how they drop their mp3 players and they still work fine... The better brands are pretty durable. Big hard disk is better IMO since you can put everything on there and not have to change stuff ever if you want to listen to something else. They're normally fairly easily searchable too.

Creative zen vision is an alternative to ipod, HarrY, in terms of video capability. Bear in mind if those sizes you mention are in normal size you might want to lower the resolution to fit, so they won't take up anyhere near as much space.
That makes no sense. RunT's and MC's post.
It makes perfect sense. I know people who have iPods. If your music collection on your PC isn't catorgized [such as names of albums, genres, etc.] then finding what you're looking for to play on a iPod HDD is difficult to do. Edit: quotes broken? and sig script? :(

Well if you don't have a folder for each artist, then album then you're an idiot tbh.

Doesn't the ipod allow you to view a list of artists, then select one, then select an album made by that artist and it starts playing it? iTunes can do that, so I'd imagine the iPod can. (And that's using the tags)

Creative Zen Vision is probably one of the better ones. But it's also one of the MOST expensive brands on the main mp3 market.

Yes, Creative does make some of the best portable MP3/Video players.. and as [B]C1 said, they are very expensive. But if your just looking for something to hold a couple gigs of tunes, I'd go with an iRiver, or an ipod mini.

well, i got some things to say about ipod mini's.
 • Dont "try" to connect them with winamp

 • dont disconnect when it says "Do not disconnect"
 • keep it clean with a ipod skin
 • Dont use it as a portable hard drive too much(just like most hard drives- eventually it will wear down)
