Microsoft's one is crap. Ahem So.. any suggetions or opinions on which one you guys think is best? Bit of a stupid question but ah well. If it helps, it helps. Tea why! emberstrife Statusless Send PM Posts: Threads: Money: £0.00 (D) (+ Friend)	There are two main defragmenters out there, by editor's rating and people's opinion alike - Diskeeper and PerfectDisk The latter has a little more functions, and is generally more comfortable to use, which is why i'd recommend it. Norton Disc Doctor is(or used to be) pretty decent, too. Apart from the fact that it does take about 12 hours to defrag. It does go faster in safe mode though. I'm slightly shocked from when I analyzed the hard drive on my friends computer and the chart thing was almost completly red. It doesn't spend alot of time defragging either-mainly because I defragment more frequently than your average user and it doesn't take along time atall, really.
