Right, I'm thinking of getting / buying a new disk defragmenter for my computer.
Cause lets face facts here. Microsoft's one is crap. *Ahem*

So.. any suggetions or opinions on which one you guys think is best? Bit of a stupid question but ah well.
If it helps, it helps. Tea why! :)

alright, i found a good site, it shows some of the best "system utilities softwares", comparing, rating, all of the best. I dont know much about "defraggers" but you can trust the consumer ratings.

There are two main defragmenters out there, by editor's rating and people's opinion alike - Diskeeper and PerfectDisk The latter has a little more functions, and is generally more comfortable to use, which is why i'd recommend it. Norton Disc Doctor is(or used to be) pretty decent, too.

Same. Apart from the fact that it does take about 12 hours to defrag. It does go faster in safe mode though.

I'm slightly shocked from when I analyzed the hard drive on my friends computer and the chart thing was almost completly red.

I really don't see what's so bad about Microsofts, and I don't really care. It doesn't spend alot of time defragging either-mainly because I defragment more frequently than your average user and it doesn't take along time atall, really.

But yeah,. perfect disk is a good disk defragger I have heard from many people.

But what I'm really looking for is something that defrags, and places files and clusters in easier access places.
Which makes the hard drive work more efficently and quieter.
