The main reason why I don't smoke is because my parents absolutely despise it, and if they found me doing it they would make me feel like a complete idiot. I haven't tried it enough to decide if I like it or not, but I know that I don't want to become a 'smoker' because it's so bad for you and it makes you smell so bad.

I hate how smokers always leave their cigarette butts on the ground, as if littering is not immoral when it's just a cigarette butt.

On another note, I managed to make my mum quit smoking when I was around 10 years old (i think).

Well, I have much to say on this matter.
First of all, I agree with the ban. If you want to smoke, go and do it in the privacy of whereever. I have lots of friends that smoke, but I don't try and judge them. But I've hated smoking my entire life because both my parents smoke. It kills them, and it will be the death of me.

Also, about the ban, a full ban wouldn't work because then the government would lose money because people would smuggle cigarettes in. The only thing to do about it is, try to convince people to not do it. However, cigarettes will never cease.

Ciggerette's will never cease. If they did, there would be alot of pissed of people out there wanting them back.

I hate to say this, but I would be one of them. Stopping smoking is not an easy task, you can't just "stop" just like that. In my defense, you have to slow down before you can completely stop.

Yes as you guessed, I am a smoker and it's hard to give it up, so if they banned it completely then yes, people will be smuggling them into the country.

All I can say is thank god the law didn't pass in the UK about people smoking in public places, such as pubs, bars and clubs.

Smoking also reduces your penis size. Really.

Bad points: It doesn't taste nice, it sucks up all your money, makes you have yellow teeth, gives you bad breath, lungs fill up full of tar, you constantly smell horrible, an altered sense of taste and you'll be grumpy if you don't have one when you feel like one.

Good points: Ehm...it gives you something to do with your hands. Yes, that's it, it makes your hands busy. Such a brilliant trade-off there. Completely worth it, don't you agree?

The chemicals in the ciggaretts can alter the colour of your skin-over a very lot time period that is.

Which was unnerving. But I can see the the point of that now was to stop me from doing it secretly. Alas, I've already made up my mind that I am never going to smoke. As far as I can remember, I havn't even touched one!

The ban is the thing end of the wedge. WHat both the USA government and the UK government and whoever else is doing is, although probably unconciously, slowly phasing out smoking until they ban it completly, which is not a good idea. It is so blatently obvious that a ban would drive the market underground. In terms of numbers, it will be practically the same. The only difference is jails would finally burst open.

Say you were a smoker (or if you are, be yourself) and you were having three fags a day or some ridiculously organ-mutating number like that. The peeps of the high power are saying that smoking is now illegal. Are you really gonna fight your addiction just because you don't want to break the law? The majority of people won't or wouldnt be able to.


There is a hell of alot wrogn with having a crafty fag outside.
-Another fag is just going to make your health degrade
-A fag outside is gonna degrade the health of passers by
-You have to pay to get back in :p
-you won't get off with as many good looking ladies as you would be able to if you hadnt had one for the simple reason that your breath now smells of stale compost.
-You will probably end up having two fags outside anyway, which is twice as worse.







Apparently, masturbation does exactly that as well. The bonus is it isn't in anyway unhealthy, and I would imagin orgasms to be so much better than 'aving a fag

I resent that, I know lots of good people that smoke, they know they shouldn't, but they do it anyway. It doesn't make you an idiot, it just means you made a bad choice.
