EvilWeevil gets out his mobile and phones Paul, a friend.
"Paul, we need to get one of our friends to a hospital A.S.A.P Bring your van over as fast as you can."
Then, there's a crash from the building EvilWeevil had indicated, and something falls out of a window.

ArcBeetle goes to the the guy who fell out of the windows. He tells him: "Someone set a bobmb in the building..." and dies.

ArcBeetle runs to the building to see what hapenned

Karyn, who had returned to staring into space, is suddenly hit in the small of the back by a large van. Pain straks through him, blinds him and eventually makes him black out.

Paul gets out of the van. He and EvilWeevil pick up Wormo and put him in the back of the van. They notice Karyn lying on the ground.
"What happened to him?"
"Beats me. Get him in the van too."

Once Karyn is in the van, Paul drives off to the hospital, while EvilWeevil and Sherlock run after ArcBeetle.

Whilst in the van, Glenn uses his healing power to treat Karyn's wounds.

Kayrn wakes up, just in time to see out of the back window a dark figure hauling a chest across the road.
"Turn this horseless carriage around!" he commands.
And so it was done.
The van drives straight through the figure, splattering the window with something, red, gruesome and lumpy. With no way to see out, the van cascades into a ditch. The bonnet, out of pure tradition, goes up in flames.
Kayrn jumps out the van, pulling an unconcious body out with him for good measure. Concentrating on the fire, he raises the palm of his hand and a flash of grey screams over the bonnet, enveloping the fire.

The van explodes anyway.

Hearing an explosion, EvilWeevil quickly turns back.
"Go after ArcBeetle," he says to Sherlock.
EvilWeevil rushes to where the explosion was. When he eventually gets there, he sees bits of van everywhere, and lots of fire. He runs over to Kayrn and Glenn (not to mention the unconcious Wormo) but when he reaches them, the fire forms a circle around them, trapping them all.
"We're trapped!" says someone.

ArcBeetle enters in the building to save the people who seems top be trapped inside of it.

But...

The building has about 122 stairs.

ArcBeetle runs up to the highest one

Wormo rolls over, moans, rolls over again, and rolls over again onto the flame. His face catches alight and his reflexes make him leap forward onto the flame. EvilWeevil shoves him out and everyone rushes out of the gap and over to the building (apart form Wormo who is now not only unconcious, but also has 3rd degree burns).

How about some description? Hm?

You say your character frees the trapped people, well how does he do it? Even one adjective would help.

Running up thoes stairs could tire him out, or mabey he gets ambushed by somethingorother along the way.

"Just a minute!" shouts kayrn, but no one is listening to him. They are all too busy rushing through the URBAN enviroment to notice that they have actually jumped from a lonely country lane to a large city.

Kayrn takes a step back and finds himself in the middle of a field alight with flames.

Kayrn takes a step forward and finds himself in the middle of a road infront a huge building that the crew are running towards.

What the hell???

Acting on a brainwave, Kayrn positions himself halfway across this "invisible portal" and ends up nowhere whatsoever. Everything is black (or seems black, really its the colour of absolutly nothing whatsover) and a couple of metres away, although it is hard to tell distance in here, the same dark figure is standing next to the chest.

"Holy SHIT" shouts Kayrn, or tries to. Unfortunatly sound dosnt travel very well through nothing.

The figure raises a hand and nothing begins to enclose over him, suffocating him. Instantly Kayrn cups his hands and a pure white light screams through nothing, radiating from his hands. The figure flinches and withdraws, before thrusting both hands at him in a pushing motion.

Kayrn finds himself on his back in the middle of the road, feeling extremly light. This was very possibly due to the absence of any of his weapons.

Jumping up, Kayrn bolts after the rest of the gang.

"The HELL! Why does everything blow up whereever I go. I swear, the God of Plot Development must really hate me or something."

Glenn and Joe pull themselves out of the wreckage.

"Well, I guess we better find all the others..."

Wormo slowly gets up, falls over and barfs on a crossbow. He has a moment to notice its actually Kayrn's before he becomes too lightheaded and collapses again. He goes a deathly white. His last thought was; 'why the hell is there a crossbow in front of that oncouming lorry?' before the crossbow gets crushed and he is whacked into the wreckage of the building. The lorry spins and topples over, spilling all kinds of medication onto the road. Some of the drugs roll around, knocking over some of the crew before they finally come to a halt.

When ArcBeetle finally arrives to at the finish of the stairs, he finds people trapped inside one of the apartments(sp?).

When he is going to rescue them, he hears a voice which says "Where are you going so fast?"

EvilWeevil was fortunately not one of the people knocked over by the drugs. He gets up, dusts himself down, and realises he's back in the town. He sees Glenn, Joe, Wormo, and a rather flat Kayrn lying around. He finds it strange that they somehow all ended up here in the town, but has more important things to think about.

"Oh great. More people who need medical attention. Paul. PAUL!"
What EvilWeevil doesn't realise of course, is that Paul is in a million pieces, due to the van exploding.

Meanwhile, Sherlock reaches the top of the stairs. He sees someone holding a bazooka, which is being aimed at ArcBeetle. But he's too tired to do anything, and collapses on the ground.
