As you type, it will offer suggestions to what you want to search for. Say you write lol, and it will suggest lol, lola, loli, lolicon, lollipop, lolo ferrari, lollywood, lolaray, lolo and lola lyrics. Select which one, and off you search. I'm quite impressed by this little feature. It seems Google develops new things all the time. Say you wanted to search for "switzerland", but you didn't know how to spell it, then you could write "swi" and select "switzerland" from the list.
