Well from what I know, if you on a router, and you like to do file transfering a lot, you need to open ports, in which somebody could connect through, thus giving then access to your computer. But I dont really know, im just ultra paranoid sometimes. =/

Well I dont care about viruses, I have the best antivirus protection around :P. So even if the virus is ran, it locks everything up and eliminates it. So I dont care about that, im just concered about people getting into my computer, not it getting infected.

there are viruses which automatically try to send exe files to everyone on your contact list, and even have an accompanying message to have you open it...

Also someone tried to send me an exe file that was a few kb big claiming it was a big animation for btp... yes, in 4 kb... and yes it just happens to set off the virus warning..

c0ld. c0ld sent Dumazz one and he opened it. My friend got a trojan that he thought was a "lag stopper" for runescape and lost all his guys. Really, you got to think before accepting files.
Don't accept .exe files or other filetypes like that, even if you know the person.
Only accept music and images :)

MSN7 beta is crap. The nudgeing takes up 100% cpu usage and is vastly annoying, the winks are INCREDIBLY annoying and HUGELY pointless.
And above all MSG+ doesn't work with it. And if it does, the stuff plugin won't.
(MSN+ is an extra to their emailing service, get it right next time.)

I basically just like MSN 7 for Wheel of fortune and the fact that you can sign in as appear offline. I love that option :D So if some annoying person is on that you don't feel like talking to at the time, you can not appear online or just block them until you feel like talking to them again.
